I finally built something to replace Obsidian. I wanted something fast, without folders or tags. Two days after building it, I no longer use Obsidian. One reason this was possible, I think, is that I hardly used any Obsidian plugins.

Being busy with various projects has led me to neglect the wiki.

I asked an agent to optimize power consumption, and it found and fixed various issues on its own. For example:

An app had been deleted, but its bundled LaunchDaemon remained and kept trying to restart every 10 seconds. Fixing this eliminated a process that ran 8,640 times a day.
Fixed ghostty’s cursor blinking consuming an abnormal amount of battery (cursor-style-blink = false, shell-integration-features = no-cursor), reducing idle CPU usage from 22.8% to 2.4%.
Fixed the tmux statusline spawning sudo powermetrics (gpu.sh) + ps -A (cpu.sh) + vm_stat (ram.sh) every five seconds. Creating tmux-status.c, changing the APIs it calls, and optimizing the call pattern reduced idle power consumption by 78%.

Still tinkering with the design bit by bit. Without an eye for aesthetics, I make no progress. I need practice, but rarely do anything. So lazy.

I improved the wiki design. I applied optical alignment to headings and justified the body text. I tried to keep Korean word units from breaking, but could not prevent it entirely. See Wiki design update, August 16, 2026.
