A person who practices veganism, or food, products, and so on that are consistent with veganism.

Tobias Leenaert recommends using ‘vegan’ as an adjective (vegan food, vegan restaurants) rather than as a noun (e.g. Are you a vegan?). Nouns give a dichotomous impression (So are you vegan or not?), whereas adjectives do so less. There is a difference between ‘become a vegan’ (noun) and ‘try vegan food’ (adjective).1
