Retrospective

목적:

To uncover the real goals, I usually need to speak with a number of people from the project. I often start by saying, “Tell me about the project - just the really important stuff.” After hearing a number of responses, I begin to see what the organization wants to accomplish with the retrospective. I then explore possible goals with the client.

  • Possible Goal 1: Capter effort data.
  • Possible Goal 2: Get the story out.
  • Possible Goal 3: Improve upon the process, procedures, management and culture.
  • Possible Goal 4: Capture collective wisdom.
  • Possible Goal 5: Repair damage to the team. … Often, organizations reject this goal of repairing damage to the team because they take what I consider to be the archaic view that “it is not proper to deal with feelings in the workplace.” In my experience, high-performance teams are fully capable of developing safe ways to discuss the feelings and needs of each member.
  • Possible Goal 6: Enjoy the accomplishment.
