My personal wiki, where I write with Obsidian, publish to the web with SvelteKit, and quantify and manage things with a Python CLI program (see Wiki gardening rules).

History

2026-08-16 - Completed the 2026-08-16 wiki redesign.
2025-07-26 - Collecting scattered fragments of the past one by one, digging through Google Cloud, various social media services, note files, internet caches, and so on.
2024-09-08 - Collected scattered records and settled on Obsidian.
2017-00-00 - Tried various tools including MediaWiki, Semantic MediaWiki, Notion, Mem, and Typora, without settling on one. Consequently, both records and memories from 2017 through August 2024 are hazy. I felt firsthand how records influence memory.
2013-07-28 - Moved to ecogwiki.
2013-07-20 - Put ecogwiki on the web.
2003-06-04 - Moved to a MoinMoin-based wiki (160 pages).
2001-00-00 - Learned about wikis through Original Wiki and the NoSmoke community, and began using PhpWiki installed on my personal computer.

Ideas

Summaries for readers. Implement Zoom. When an article changes, recalculate Zoom only if the edit distance from the original used to generate it exceeds a threshold. Generate Zoom only for articles beyond a certain length.
