While reading <Microsoft>'s "Semantic Kernel" documentation, I learned about [Schillace laws](https://wiki.g15e.com/pages/Schillace%20laws.txt). Gained some good insights from them.

Inspired by [Schillace laws](https://wiki.g15e.com/pages/Schillace%20laws.txt), I made a small script that takes natural-language text as input, executes commands written in natural language, and returns the resulting natural-language text. You can connect it using Unix pipelines.

```bash
cat document.txt | nlp summarize | nlp keywords
```

(Added in <May 2025>: I recommend using <Simon Willison>'s [LLM CLI](https://wiki.g15e.com/pages/LLM%20CLI.txt).)

Wrote up some notes on the [steering task](https://wiki.g15e.com/pages/Steering%20task.txt).

An article about problems in the US <effective altruism> community, including pressuring women members into <polyamory> as "more rational/efficient" and grooming young women. The idea was so good, but the community practicing it seems to be rotting.

The trap in thinking "AI only improves productivity by about 20%; it won't make jobs disappear": if individuals' <productivity> rises by an average of 20%, a company that hired five people will hire about four, so one job has disappeared.

Looked into [Peter Singer's views on AI, transhumanism, and ethics](https://wiki.g15e.com/en/pages/Singer%20on%20AI,%20Transhumanism,%20and%20Ethics.txt).
